It is attended by a health visitor, a nursery nurse and a staff nurse. Baby checks and immunisations are carried out during this clinic. You will also have a chance to discuss any concerns you may have about your child with a health visitor.
Smoking Cessation Clinic
We have a list of smoking cessation Pharmacists to whom patients can self refer- please ask at reception for details of these Pharmacists. In addition, leaflets on stopping smoking are available; please ask for one if you cannot see one in the waiting area.
We are actively engaged in health education, promoting better health and disease prevention. We are always happy to discuss this with you. In particular, we can arrange primary prevention such as advice on smoking, diet, exercise and immunisations; health screening such as blood pressure checks, cholesterol estimates; and contraceptive services.
We offer a range of minor surgical procedures, which can be performed in our treatment rooms by our doctors. This can often save unnecessary visits to hospital.
Social services can help with a wide range of social problems. The team includes home care organisers, social workers and occupational therapists. You can contact social services on 2863311.
