Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

How to sign-up

For more information, please contact reception or next time you visit the surgery, bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and something with your address on like a bank statement but not a gas or electric bill. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you sign-up

Ask at reception for your personal username and password.

Once you have your details go online to register at   www.patient.co.uk   it's as simple as that.

 


 

What to do when the practice is closed: 

  • If it is a life-threatening emergency call 999
  • if you need medical help but it is not an emergency call 111   

NHS 111 is the number to call when you need medical help fast but it is not a life threatening emergency. Calls to NHS 111 are FREE from landlines and mobiles - it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.  

When to call 111

  • you think you need to go to A&E or to another NHS urgent care
    •  
    service
  • your GP surgery is closed and you need healthcare advice                                                                         
  • you dont know who to call for medical advice  

  • When to call 999
    • Major accident or trauma
    • Severe Breathlessness       
    • Severe bleeding
    • Loss of conciousness
    • Severe chest Pain
  • Advice leaflets for poorly Children:

    Same day help for your poorly child If your child has become unwell in the last few days and you would like urgent advice then please contact the surgery and we will arrange for a clinician to speak to you and if necessary to see your child, today - this could save you an unnecessary trip to A+E or a Walk-in Centre. Can we also make you aware of the Little Orange Book, which provides expert help for parents and carers on how to manage common problems in babies and small children – The little Orange book contains advice and tips on how to manage common illness and problems that babies and young children often experience in the first five years of their lives. it also has information of more serious conditions what to look out for and how to get help.
